I dunno, Joe. A beret as a gift for a friend. . . strikes me as ALWAYS a bad idea. Receiving a beret as a gift from a friend--especially an expensive one like this--would leave me in a jam because I wouldn't feel free to re-gift it (because) a beret as a gift for a friend strikes me as a CHRONICALLY bad idea.
I'm happy to agree to disagree on this one. :)
