Instant Seat Cover

33ver2big

The moment I saw this item on the cover of a catalog in my mailbox this morning, I wanted one.

I cannot tell you how annoying it is to have to sit on plastic bags, paper towels, newspapers and/or whatever else I can find in my car's trunk when I drive home after a 5K race or a run on a hot, humid day.

The alternative is to immerse my seat in quarts of my sweat, and slide around in it while doing so.

Yucko.

From the website:

Luxuriously soft cover slips on like a poncho.

1. Get towel, 2. Cut hole in top, 3. Sell like it's a new invention.

I already do this for after swimming with 2 large very slightly modified old beach towels (folded over the top so it fits over my car's head rest and sewed snaps to keep it folded and sewed another beach towel on the bottom so it would be long enough)

Personally I like my festive beach towels better than that iteration above. Also, my headrest doesn't get wet.

Has rather the charm and appeal of a plastic lobster bib...

I could of used one of these when I had leather interior. Hot seats = Hot buns.
