Computer Bed — 'An alternative to your computer/ treadmill combo'
Forget about all the treadmill desk stuff I've been flogging here since the year one: Rebecca Waldeck, my Oakville, Ontario, Canada correspondent, just sent me a photo of a Computer Bed (above).

Fun Gadgets makes a good point about typing while in bed, but if you can manage to learn how to use a chord board you can type one handed & use your other hand for a trackball, wii controller, or gyration mouse.

The BedLCD in the comment URL above is definitely better. The fact that the original article person used a CRT is just flakey. I also like how the BedLCD folds-up and out of the way.
However, neither solution fixes one of my complaints with using a computer in bed: typing. I often use my laptop in bed (sitting on my chest) and yeah, it's a pain (sometimes literally) to bend my neck to see the screen, however typing is the worst aspect. Yeah, you don't need to type a ton if you're just surfing the web, but you still need to type from time to time.

I'm not dissin' anybody's clever rig-up, but I STILL say (I said the same thing about that thingamajig you posted up a while back that holds a book over your head so you can read in bed -- if you don't actually need it): Baaaaad JuJu! Bad Karma! Bad, bad, bad!
Now go to your room (treadmill) and use your computer like a normal (!?) person!
