Did anyone else ever notice, I wonder, how the (idealized) figure -- well, the face, actually -- of Marat in Jacques-Louis David's "The Death of Marat" looks a whole lot like Bob Denver? Bob Denver, best known to many as Gilligan but best remembered by me as "Dobie Gillis"'s Maynard G. Krebs, who prefaced every utterance with "like"? Yeah, that Bob Denver?
Probably not. Oh well.
