The Six Thousand — and why you're not one of them
Since December 20, 2005, Cliff Pickover's website, The Six Thousand, has featured various and sundry of the ""6000 intriguing people you want to meet online before you die."
Huh.
I looked back through the archives all the way to the beginning and was relieved to find that I wasn't among the good and the great appearing there.
So you know Cliff's list has to be good.
But I digress.
I did note that two of the individuals cited — Xeni Jardin and Lisa Randall — I have indeed met online.
5,998 to go.
At this rate Ray Kurzweil had better be right.
