Treadmill Workspace Update — Cats do it, people do it, why the heck shouldn't dogs do it?
No sooner did Evan Blass's Engadget story on Steelcase's new Treadmill Walkstation appear last Friday, October 19, 2007 than the Royal Bank of Scotland joined the party, splashing the ad pictured above all the way across the lower half of pages 10 and 11 in today's Wall Street Journal.

But that's not a treadmill workstation. He's just sitting at a desk to the side, multitasking as it were, by using the treadmill to walk his pooch. A testament to creative use of time, but alas, that's all.

I think the advertising people are forgetting that the main reason you walk a dog is so he can, ahem, do his business.
