I'm confused -- usually "our tax dollars at work" is an ironic statement. Are you being ironic, i.e., you think this is a waste of funds? Why? Just curious. Seems to me that syndicated content, vs. straight Web delivery in a single location, can't be a waste. But, I'm curious to hear your argument against it.
