I've no idea what dress size I am! I loved the sling I used when our two were tiny though. Not waterproof, but then I'm happy holding slippery smalls.
This sling http://www.wilkinet.co.uk/ is magic. Because there are no buckles you tend to put it on properly each time - it's a bit fiddly the first few times but soon you'll be slipping it on and off easily. It supports the baby's bum better than the sort that hold the baby up by the crotch and certainly for our two it was much more secure and comfortable. I loved having them as newborns snuggled close in I could chat to them all day. As they got older I turned them round so they could see the world around us.
Much better than pushchairs, the small is up at eye level so it sees what you see, it talks to whoever you're talking to (or at least learns to make eye contact) rather than being parked at shin height facing away from the conversation.
