Cats really do use the litter robot and they love it. It can take some coazing, but the success rate is close to 95%. Adding a scoop of old litter, cat nip, cat treats, cat attract litter, praise for walking near the litter robot or stepping in are all good tricks. Once kitty uses it the first time, he never goes back to the old box.

I am wondering who can convince their feline to 1) climb in and 2) use such a small space. Other than that, it sounds great.

Anyone who is "frequently away from [their] favorite feline", assuming "frequently" means they are away more than present, does not deserve a feline.
