Prediction:
Litigation - lots of it.
Any gal with access to proprietary data can proudly place the pendant between her pendulous modified sweat glands and make off with the data while the geeks behave like the boobs that they are. Flash drives are banned from most high-tech companies and are 100% verboten at mailing list/data centers.
Now, who would think a fine pendant would sink a corporation?
