that's a bit steep, yes? it appears that one could make this very same bowl with the use of some industrial adhesive (say, 3M's 5200 in a tube) and a set of silver plated (or stainless)spoons. one would need a form to keep things in symmetry while they're curing...probably an overturned bowl would work.
