The Charlottesville Daily Progress strikes back (that didn't take long)

1st_junk_mail_from_dp

Above, received at 5:31 p.m. yesterday afternoon, the very first spam I've ever received from the Charlottesville Daily Progress website.

Let's see... it took their crack media team (yo, Matthew!) exactly three and a half hours (you could look it up) from my last post about parent Media General's all-out assault on my detailed coverage of great stories from their local newspaper (the Charlottesville Daily Progress) until they unleashed their mighty spam-dogs of war.

Okay, Media General — you want to take off the gloves?

You got it.

On another note, it would appear my junk mail filter's working quite nicely.

Great Idea #722:

Hide in your website's "terms of use":

Any correspondence with our attorney automatically ops you into any and all newsletters and promotions from our company and our affiliates and others we feel like selling your email address to.

It must be your fault Joe.
