'Don't judge a book by its cover' — the exception that proves the rule
Above, this month's exception.
I happened on the title in some article I read and looked it up on Amazon.
Mixed reviews but that cover and title trump mere opinions.
As Wilde remarked, "Only the shallow judge by more than appearances."
Hey, don't go by what I think — read the first chapter.
Put me down for a copy.

I judge books by covers all the time....and the first few lines of page 1. So I'll take a look. Taking a look is so much of the battle. Thanks for the tip! First-time visitor, by the way. Feels like a sports radio call-in show comment, I know.

Wilde was being himself and in this instance sarcastic. I like Wilde.
The issue at hand is multilayered and a bit more complicated than any one book is capable of handling. I wouldn't buy it.
