Call for things of interest

Bookofjoe_tattoo_1

For the past several months I've noticed a definite trend going on in regard to suggestions, tips and links to things I can use here.

Long story short: Less stuff's coming in.

Being inherently lazy, I much prefer to have wonderful items and ideas appear as if by magic in my mailbox instead of doing the heavy lifting myself.

Won't you consider me as a perfect outlet for things you'd like to see exposed to the greater world, without your fingerprints if that's what you prefer?

You can be as anonymous or credited as you like and I'll bend over backward to link to whatever site(s) you request.

Ray's so right.

So, here are two things of interest, to me, and probably only to me --

1. Sharon Bezaly, who might be the World's Greatest Flutist:

and

2. Without a doubt, The World's Most Effective Backscratcher -- the World Kitchen/Ekco Kitchamajig:

The illustration doesn't depict it accurately. The business end is a slotted, shallow bowl which works well enough for straining & serving food but remains without peer as a backscratcher. The utensil is held with the curved-in edge facing the back, the actually scratching being done by the sharp (but fear not; nowhere near sharp enough to cut) outer edge. The World Kitchen/Ekco folks might want to re-market this as the "Scratchamajig."

Be careful for what you wish.
