Build your own laser harp
TechnoDolts™ will please move along, nothing to see here — though I suppose it's ok to listen to Stephen Hobley play his remarkable Laser Harp (above) — just make sure you're wearing your safety goggles if you decide to abre los ojos.
Everyone else, feast your eyes on Hobley's website, wherein he offers a "full parts list, circuit diagrams, schematics and source code" so you can build your own.
The site contains the sum of 22 years of experimentation and research.
Bonus: Along with harp details, instruction on how to build a Laser Theremin appears in Hobley's article in the latest issue (volume 15) of MAKE magazine.
"Safety Warning: This project involves high power laser radiation — buy the correct laser safety goggles before you attempt it."

I am in an engineering class at Pike Central High School. I am looking and trying to succeed in building a laser harp. Is there any information you can send me on how you went about building it or instructions? Thanks
