I grew up in the DC suburbs of VA where we called it soda pop, which I guess falls in the "other" category.

For those who are seriously dedicated to figuring out this map, there is (was; it's from June) some interesting discussion on it here:

The question here is the sample size. 120,464 people is a small size to gauge this map, especially if you are doing it by county. Lets say that you give 10 counties (rough) to each state, that 241 people per county. This can be kinda sorta brushed aside if you consider the large swathes of similar colors. Alaska, Nevada, New Mexico, and Virginia on the other hand don't have similar colors. As byteful traveller mentioned, its the detail. Don't trust it.The sample size is way to small. I can kinda sorta trust the bare bits of this, but unless i was in cali, new england, or washington i wouldn't place a bet on it. Even that seems spurious seems the random flecks of different colors. Unless there are immigrant populations of soda-sayers that were dropped in nebraska it dosen't really make sense.

I had seen a map like this before, but never to this level of detail. Imagine, that this silent war has been going on under our noses and we've been left unawares.

Virginia is of particular interest as all 3 seem to have approximately equal footing in the state.

In any case, I vote for "soda". It's the most scientifically correct. "Pop" sounds like a violent act. "You wanna pop!? DO YA!?"

Ass-deep in the South it's pronounced Co-Cola. It's way too much trouble to put in that extra "co".
If you're in the South plumb up to the armpits, it's "Co-Coler." If you were to actually say you wanted some pop, somebody's liable to give you turpentine or something.
