Live online interview from atop my treadmill today at 4 p.m. ET

As a result of Mandy Katz's September 16, 2008 New York Times article about the rise of the treadmill workspace, word has gotten up and out about me and my heretofore under the radar activities.

Thus, when Amanda Smyth emailed me last week to see if I could do a live half-hour interview on her weekly LifeTips radio show, it took me all of three seconds to look over my advance bookings for the rest of my life and realize I didn't have any.

But I digress.

Today Ms. Smyth and her boss, Byron White, are gonna put me on the hot seat and grill me good (nice, eh?) about the why and how of the treadmill workspace.

Along with myriad other digressions, asides, etc. — you know the drill.

You can listen to it here.

Can't do 4 o'clock?

Again, no problem: the show is archived here for posterity or forever, whichever comes first.

Wait a minute....

Boy, you must really be bored... wait a minute, joe, you're not supposed to say stuff like that — it undermines you.

Never mind.

I'd film the interview and post my end on YouTube but I haven't a clue how to set up my little RCA $100 videocamera such that it gets me instead of my cat in the frame.

Come to think of it, it'd prolly be more entertaining to watch the cat.

Over 56,000 people would concur.

Isn't that right, Humphrey?

This just in (3:47 p.m. today) from Ms. Smyth, in response to a reader's question about whether listeners can participate live: "They can jump into the WebmasterRadio.fm chat room or call directly into our studio toll-free: 1-866-916-3423."

Hi Joe
You done good! Do we get a Utube while you were doing the show?
Apparently had some spyware/software program blocking the show.
