'It's obvious to the point of stupidity like all the best ideas' — Jasper Morrison
Maybe there's still hope for us TechnoDolts™, what?
The quote up top was part of the great British designer's comment on the Straw Straw (above), Gold Prize winner in this year's MUJI International Design Competition.
His words in their entirety: "Why is a straw called a straw in English? No doubt the first straw was a straw! But nobody remembered that until now. I like this project a lot, it's obvious to the point of stupidity like all the best ideas. I think it's also a great MUJI product, full of spirit."
