TypePad solves my photo problem — sweet

Into my inbox late last evening while I was sleeping tumbled the email above, a response to a Help Ticket I filed last week concerning the sudden, nearly complete disappearance of all my photos from posts of the past 4+ years.

I just checked and like Jen said, the problem's been corrected and now all the thousands of posts in my archives display properly along with their graphics and whatnot.

Now, as soon as my crack tech team fixes my archives access issue, we'll be just like we were on January 11, 2009, the day before the big "Upgrade" that wrecked everything.

Not really: it still takes me 2-4 times longer, on average, to create a post than before the "improved" compose editor debuted, but it's something.

Considering that I was already spending about an hour every day to manually fix the pictures in my archives after they crashed, and that I'd got as far back as January 6 of this year, with some four years, four months and two weeks worth to go, I had expected to fully restore my archives' photos by the end of next year.

So you can see why running to stand still, to me right now, seems like a really great thing.

Well that's good news. I'd rather see an image than a bbd5itf or any of the other gibberish numbers it had in their stead.
