World's top crossword puzzle solver throws down a challenge
Long story short: 24-year-old Tyler Hinman (above, solving a Monday New York Times puzzle in two-and-a-half minutes) has won the American Crossword Puzzle Tournament for the past four years and plans on a five-peat at this year's tournament, which begins February 27.
He created "an extra-special crossword (with a geeky twist)" for Wired magazine's latest (February) issue.
