wwitv.com — '3,085 online TV stations listed'

Prolly even more by the time you read this.

Bonus: free, the way we like it.

Slowly but surely we're getting to where we know we're gonna end up: anything on any screen anytime anywhere.

You mean, I don't have to buy the USB key from the junk store, or buy $75 dollar software from some shady corner of the Internet to watch online TV?

Next thing you know, you'll be telling me that the computer speed-up software I bought from the TV doesn't make my computer faster.

Is it trying to tell me something?

Well- I think it's not as amazing as it sounds. Much of it is not in English, and I checked "local stations" for my state and out of the five listed, only one worked- and that is news, news, news, Oprah, Dr. Phil, news, news, news, the late show, the latelate show, news. The others either linked to websites that had NO live feed or it said "check back later." I tried a couple others also but they didn't work- no sound on one, no picture on another. But maybe there will be some cool things on that site.

You weren't kidding! 3109 when I just checked it out. This could be the end of my productivity for quite a while....
