Carrot Curler

P303470b

I've seen these since forever but never met anyone who had one.

"Insert a vegetable and rotate — the stainless steel blade produces pretty curls."

Can it really be that simple and easy?

Maybe I'll try it.

Looks pretty TechnoDolt™-compatible but I've been burned before by appearances.

$4.30.

Welll.. results are mixed. I was stuck using small carrots (the wife likes them, all the better for snacking), so I was in danger of losing a finger. But if when you sharpened your crayons as a kid, and thought that it would make a great garnish, well, this is just the thing for you.

I must admit, that yes, I own one. It was more or less inherited. And I have never used it. I just don't ever find a need for curled carrots.

But I'll try it, just for you Joe.

If I didn't already throw it away.
