169 pliable FDA-approved food-grade silicone rubber fingers sensually cradle fruit.

Fruity’s fingers yield to protect the fragile fruit while providing air circulation, extending its edible life and preventing bruising.

"While these pictures look great, Fruity has not yet been manufactured. The funding period for Fruity will last only 16 weeks beginning from its first sale. Within this time period, Fruity needs to sell a minimum of 1500 units to be manufactured. If Fruity is not fully funded within the 16 week period, your purchase is refunded within 4 days."

What an interesting approach to "just in time."

It'll be interesting to see if it catches on.

:)) That looks horrible.

That's $28 American. For a silicone mat with fingers! And for something that might not ever get sent, I might just get my money sent right back! What, they just want an interest-free loan or something? Are they insane? For that price it better not only hold the apples but it better peel them and make an apple pie out of them, too.

You know what I use for a fruit bowl? A hanging set of three wire baskets from the dollar store. The wire chains broke, it was so cheap- so it is hanging via repurposed electrical cord from some busted item or other. Cost me all of $1.
