Sink Front Safe — Hide in plain sight
Very cool, actually.
I've always been bemused about those two false fronts near my kitchen sink.
Finally, the penny dropped and someone took it to the next level.
From the website:

and hide them in these easily accessible tip-out trays.
Simply remove
the false fronts, install the hinges provided and attach the trays.
The 2-inch wide trays are made of high-impact polystyrene.
Each set includes two trays and mounting hardware.

My father has had these in his house for 25 years.

It’s sad to say, but folks that leave money and jewelry in oblivious places should not be offended that a common thief found it when breaking in their home. Look around you (in your house), there are hundreds of places (a little inconvenient) that a quick foraging crook would never look. I was broke into one day and our expensive jewelry and “mad money” was in a curtain rod. The thief got away with cheap items.

I've had these in my current house for 5 years, and they were there when I moved in. I always forget that they are there and never use them... Definitely a great idea though. They get dirty easily.

We had these when I was growing up! They were part of the cabinets, though. Not a new idea, but a new spin on it! I would definitely try my hand at installing these.
