Did Betty Boop sing 'Like a Virgin?'
Shades of Milli Vanilli.
Before you get your baggies in a twist and start hating on me, close your eyes, then listen to the song, still a favorite of mine.
Well?
Am I right or am I right?
Now close your eyes again — what, you never opened them? Never mind — and listen to Betty Boop as herself.
Well?

I always thought Cyndi Lauper sounded more like Betty Boop, down to the accent.

Joe-
Big fan. But - you seem headed off in uncharted directions more so than usual. Madonna = Betty Boop? (I don't care for Madonna). Did you treat Michael Jackson? Just kidding. Keep up the good work.

Jeez, I been saying that Madonna sounds like Betty Boop for years. Finally -- corroboration.
LOVE that cartoon, too. That great music -- shades of Harry Carney (bary sax) and Bubber Miley (trumpet) in there.
