Brings back memories... When I first started driving, I travelled to Boston to do some shopping. When I had finished, I followed the signs for Route 1 to get home.
Alas, there was construction. And detours. One detour took me across the river to Cambridge, which also had construction - and a detour directing me acoss the next bridge down the road to Boston. Where I was confronted with yet another sign forcing me back to the first bridge, and thus back to Cambridge...
