Losing glaze, that's very good. I never would've thought of that. I probably would've had the injured doughnut person losing jelly at a rapid rate. And of course, due to the planet's strict system of segregation of jelly and plain doughnut people, they would've had to hunt up a similar jelly type (strawberry, blueberry, etc.) for transfusion, or maybe they would have had to try an unprecedented direct-from-jar transfusion out of the Space Guy's supply of Smuckers he keeps in the rocket ship.
