There are 3 kinds of lies: lies, damned lies and 3G coverage maps

That's the only possible conclusion to be drawn from the war of the wireless titans currently being waged in TV commercials and the courtroom by Verizon and AT&T.

Long story short: Verizon says the map up top is the way it is and AT&T says you're lying, it's like this:

All I know is when I go into town my AT&T wireless phone calls always drop out in a dead zone at the intersection of Barracks Road and Georgetown Road — about a mile from an AT&T store.

The only place my AT&T coverage drops is in the tunnel under The Rotunda (simple solution: walk above, on ground level) and down near the county fairgrounds in North Garden.

Other than that, I've never even had a dropped call.

The map shown in the verizon ad is of 3G coverage.
The map AT&T shows is of any kind of phone coverage.

basically if you want an awesome phone that you can't always call people on go with AT&T.
