True Flautist, at the core, but some of us do get a tad jaded and subconsciously (women know this) need that extra "push".

Since I'm out on the limb, let's go farther...I find these gauche and carnal!

Well I'll be the party poop here - Where are Superbia, Invidia, Ira, Avaritia, Tristia, Gula and Luxuria? All I see are lips!

Many thanks, Kathy, for the info that 'Fracas' is still in production - for some reason I was thinking it was a real oldie and long ago discontinued. I remember my mother loving it but I wasn't into fragrances at the time & paid no attention. I just read the descriptions & reviews on Basenotes website and now I can't wait to whiff it again! It sounds extraordinary, and apparently, still very popular. I probably smell it all over the place and don't even know it.

Joe Peach, I like your judgment. And Flautist - Fracas is an old, but still made, very beautiful perfume. Very heady and sexy.

Not to start up a brouhaha or anything - a katzenjammer, a fracas (didn't there used to be a perfume called 'Fracas'?) - but, Peachie, wouldn't the "half decent looking" be the actual reason for the clouding and enamoring? I mean, they're cute earrings, I like 'em, but they're not magical earrings.

I agree Kathy.

As a guy (whatever that means), any half decent looking, intelligent woman wearing these would cloud my normal demeanor.

Let's clarify that last statement; It would be easy to become enamored!

I'm kind of liking them. Too much money for something like that - but definitely amusing and sort of beautiful.
