Paro Double Wine Goblet

A 1983 design by Achille Castiglioni, the leaded crystal vessel marries two glasses into one.

Used with either goblet up or down, the lower serves as the base to the upper's bowl.

Part of the permanent collection of the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum.

Mouth-blown and fused; made in Italy.

They're beautiful. Are both goblets usable? Do you know if one is a champagne flute? Very cool.
