Fruit Bat Necklace

Il_fullxfull.117048975

Created by Peggy Skemp, who writes, "Sterling silver bat necklace on a long, 26" chain with toggle clasp. I have oxidized the bat and chain for a lustrous black patina, which I think gives the bat an added aura of mystery. Over time, skin oils will continue to brighten the black color for a beautiful effect."

"I carved this tiny, very realistic small sculptural pendant of a South American fruit bat, referring to many sources to be sure I got it right. It is about 1.75" x 0.75" x 1."

$160.

Damn! I love this! I collect toy bats and hide them all over my house (former gothy...its a habit thats hard to break).

Looks like I could sell one of my Stella Luna plushies and buy this:
