More bars in more places: How do you spell 'Wisconsin?'

Us_bars_groceries_100122cropped-1

The Blatz Beer (long defunct) commercial: "I'm from Milwaukee, and I ought to know/It's draft-brewed Blatz Beer, wherever you go/Smoother, fresher, less filling that's clear/Blatz is Milwaukee's finest beer."

I heard that jingle so many thousands of times growing up in Milwaukee, it'll probably be the last thing I remember when my mind goes.

"When, joe?"

Go away.

I'm sort of not surprised to see that big red blip over Boston area, although in the suburb I live in there are no bars and two grocery stores. But when I moved here from Manhattan many years ago I was shocked by how difficult it was to shop for groceries in the city (not a lot better now, really).

Def adding Wisconsin to my list of places to visit though!

I am humbly proud that my area, Southwestern PA has a nice blip in a somewhat temperance area!

Nothing like a quaint pub/tavern/bar, to ponder the tough questions....
