In my home country of Panama, we celebrate it on December 8th which is also the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. Makes sense for a predominantly Catholic country if you think about it. On the day that Mary supposedly conceived Jesus, that is the day when we celebrate motherhood. I've kinda always liked that.
