Blast from the past (1937): "Making moccasins that really fit"

Written by Maurice H. Decker, Camping Editor of Outdoor Life Magazine, it originally appeared in the August 1937 issue of Popular Science.

R.A. Schenk found it and republished it on April 9, 2010 on Mister Crew.

Some things are timeless.

I've never tried to make my own moccasins before but I think that I'm going to give it a shot! Making custom moccasins would be so much fun :) Maybe I'll start some tonight - thanks for the great tips!

I remember this very article from boy scout camps...made a few pairs as a kid...most comfortable thing I remember ever wearing...
