Giant Gummi Bear on a Stick

Ummm, gummi bear.

"The bear weighs 1/2 pound and is equivalent to 88 regular-sized gummy bears!"

But wait, there's more: "Arrives mounted on an extra-strong stick for long-lasting gummy enjoyment and endless sugary dreams."

Sweet Lemon, Green Apple or Blue Raspberry.

It's cute, but does it wiggle on the stick? I tend to like the type of candy that stays still, and with a little more crunch to it. I must confess I've never eaten a gummy candy simply because of what looks like might be an unpleasant slimy factor. I don't know, maybe I'm really missing something.

And now, in one of the clumsiest comment segues in boj history, I can tell you about something I do like, something that's wonderful, and that would be the Polish pianist Rafal Blechacz (yeah, I commented on him before, but once isn't enough) who, in 2005, won all five first prizes at the 15th International Chopin Competition, winning First Prize and the polonaise, mazurka, sonata and concerto prizes. One of the judges at the competition said that he so "outclassed" all the other finalists that they couldn't award a second prize to anybody. This is Chopin's Minute Waltz (Waltz in D flat Opus 64):

And this is Chopin's Prelude 24:

He's just so amazing. And, it doesn't hurt that he's a little bit cute, too.

Since very few could finish one off in one setting (or two or three),

what a great incubator for all types of germs.

Like a petri dish on a stick!
