I love Flautist (and others here),
they make me think, and that is just remarkable for me!
(It's always nice to post last/late, I think most never come back to read it!)

If you go to Salmons website, his style is a little like Ron Mueck. The lifelike detail and some of the sculptures are huge. I think Joe, you have posted Ron Mueck in the past. I would love to see either of their works in person. So amazing.

Jo: It isn't just you. Flautist thinks on a higher plane. Us mere mortals can only enjoy and try to keep up. ;-)
Love you Bev!

is it just me or does anyone else sometimes have no clue whatsoever what flautist is on about?

Oh, definitely there's amazing skilz galore there, and like my brother always tells me, just about the worst thing you can do with art is bore people, but... I just can't. It's too damn disturbing. Like I fell into the uncanny valley and broke both my legs and three fingers and a clavicle. Clearly, I am not fit for progress, or whatever in the hell it is.

The complexion is stunning if not unbelievable!
Me thinks the future is coming much faster than ever thought.
