Diving Submarine

P330835b

Back in the day — way, way back — these sometimes were offered free inside boxes of cereal.

Those were the days.

Hours of good clean fun in the tub, watching it dive and surface over and over again.

You fill it with baking powder and (non-toxic) gas forms, making it buoyant enough to surface.

Bet it's just as much fun today.

4.5" long.

$4.49.

Whew! Four point five inches long? That seems way bigger than the one I remember getting from a box of corn flakes or whatever cereal it was sometime between '54 and '56 in Manassas.
