You've waited patiently and today your dreams come true.

Yes, the video of Part 1 of this much anticipated and ballyhooed event, which took place Sunday, October 17, 2010 at bookofjoe World Headquarters©™® in Charlottesville, Virginia, makes its world premiere right here, right now.

Cary prepared for the contest by assiduously investigating countless brands of potato chips around the country.

No nationally or widely-available brands were allowed entry, as we chose to focus on small-scale, sometimes artisanal makers of this American classic, the cynosure of junk foods.

The majority of the 15 finalists came from Ohio and Pennsylvania, though there were also brands from Hawaii, California, Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri, and New York.

After narrowing down the selection, Cary ordered them for delivery here in advance of his arrival the weekend of the contest.
