Credit Default Swaps Explained — Part 1 of 2

If you're like me you've tried to wrap your mind around exactly what credit default swaps are and how they brought the whole financial house crashing down.

Joe Peach sent me this video via Khan Academy; it purports to make the subject so simple even a fool like me can understand it.

Part 2 at this time tomorrow so hold that thought.
