That is the Canon in D Major by Johann Pachebel.
There was a time when it was so ubiquitous it was an outright cliche - it was really hard to escape from the thing. Or maybe that was just me - I heard too many soulless versions in too many elevators. Which bothered me, because I really love it. First heard it during a Planetarium presentation, and that was truly magical.
