Just another day at the office

1

Above and below, Gray Cat keeps an eye on my treadmill workspace (running at 2 mph as these photos were taken by my crack team) about an hour ago.

You may ask yourself, why is she curled up where she is?

And she would reply — if she deigned to speak your language — that it's toasty there, right above the 3HP motor that gives off plenty of heat.

2

Breaking news: my resident cinematographer went all in and recorded a one-minute-long video while the photo shoot was happening.

3

My crack editing team is on it as we speak and with a little bit of luck there'll be a new movie featured in this space tomorrow and up on YouTube for my subscribers — all 71 of them — to enjoy at their leisure.

That looks just like my setup at home. With the exception of the treadmill, the cat and having to stand up to use my computer. Wow.

I'm with Kay, though I have to extend my concern from stability to aesthetics. Everything else looks so well put together (what IS the TV-and-related-electronics sitting on, anyway? Is that a helium tank?). And surely a few wire ties could hide much of that cable clutter. Sure, you've got a window and a door to look out of, but this strikes me as a workspace desperately in need of some duct tape and velcro!

Here's a blog where you can get some decorating and stability work-around ideas.

Love the video, especially Gray Cat's final "take" to the camera as Sympathy for the Devil fades out. Perfect timing.

The tables have never gone over? I would attempt duct taping them together, or super glue. If a person is good with a screwdriver, something more elaborate could be fashioned to clamp them together.

However, it's your terrain . . . you know what you're doing.

Every new picture I see of the lovely Gray Cat, she looks more confident, more self-possessed and solidly in control. Living at boj World Headquarters agrees with her.

(BTW, either of the first 2 pix would make GREAT LOLcats.)

The treadmill is an excellent idea to standing in front of a keyboard, although the latter still beats sitting there for lengthy periods.
