I said be careful my iPad 2 is really a scanner...
Proof above and below.
I realized this morning that I could take a picture of a document with it, then email the picture instantly.
Infinitely better than being tied down to a box-style scanner connected to a computer and only then being able to send a copy of a document.
Besides which I can actually use the iPad 2 camera/iPhoto email features, unlike scanners which continue to befuddle me.
So great.
But joe, you say, it's not like you're getting a really detailed scan with your kludge.
You know what I say to that?
Tough noogies, a phrase I haven't used since junior high.

DocScanner is a GREAT scanning app...will deskew and up the contrast and create a PDF without ever having to leave the app.
Wonder if the camera for the iPad is good enough for this...but I thought it was the same cam that was in the iTouch (not the iPhone).

Toss me a cigarette, I think there's one in my raincoat.

Always use the correct tool...
I'll still use my box-style for remarkable picture and high resolution scans that the iPad can't touch.
I'll still use my Ebay 14 meg Camera ($89) for all other copies (with my wi-fi card) to do what you are doing
with much more resolution at the same simplicity.
However, I will envy your iPad for other reasons.

Who dat cat?
Shirley, that can't be Gray Cat - with that blackish fur and the notch in the left ear? I don't remember that. When did that happen? You never reported that.
Unless...hmm. What have you been holding out on us?

Seems as though your scan is a bit grey and fuzzy.
Straight-line posts - I can't resist.
