Just about every pen I've used has a pointy end that could be "tactical" --just remove the cap.

Besides, isn't the pen mightier than the kubaton?

This pen is actually a Kubaton. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kubotan
They are illegal to carry in several states and on all TSA flights.
