Lure Sconce

Created by Los Angeles-based glass artist Alison Berger, who told Rima Suqi of the New York Times, "When you hold a lure in your hand, it is so delicate that you feel you could crush it like an eggshell. The glass for the sconce is also super-delicate — you just sigh into the glass to get that shape."

Wrote Suqi, "For the bronze-and-glass sconce, [Berger] studied the way a fishing line hangs over the wood of the rod, and the mechanism of a fishing reel."

Sconce measures 15" tall and takes a 25-watt filament bulb.
