From Bloomberg Businessweek: "In Silicon Valley, where you're only as good as your next big thing, Hewlett-Packard's 12c financial calculator is the rare exception: a gadget that's basically unchanged even as it approaches its 30th birthday on September 16. As one of only two calculators allowed on the Chartered Financial Analyst exam, it's still a moneymaker for HP."

Note that the scientific/engineering version, the 15c gets its original $100 price on Ebay still as well (I'm not selling mine).
