Cyrillic Salt & Pepper Shakers

E29p6jcy

Ah, a taste of the homeland (both my parents were born in Russia).

Glass.

$24.

................................

Commented Fred at 5:46 p.m. today, "Well, some designer is either ignorant, careless, or has a perverted sense of humor because those shakers spell out "Super" and "Pooper."

Pepper, in Russian, is spelled "перец" — and pronounced "perets."

Salt is spelled "соль" — and is pronounced "sahl."

................................

Note added by me at 7:42 p.m. today: On the website for the shakers they're called "Super-Duper."

But — the URL is http://store.artlebedev.com/kitchen/accessories/super-puper/

So it would appear that Fred's option #3 is the correct choice.

Flautist, you are talking about the Divine Designer, aren't you, because

it finally explains why I am what I am.

Choice?
Who says the designer can't be ignorant, careless and perverted all at once?
