"Star Trek" theme song played on a musical saw

The Saw Lady, musician/street performer Natalia Paruz, plays the original "Star Trek" theme song on the musical saw.

Turns out she also played the musical saw during perhaps the most mesmerizing scene in the film "Another Earth."

How do I know this?

Because after I tweeted yesterday about watching the movie,

she tweeted me back and told me so.

You could look (not up but) below:

Swiss Army Knife with 1TB — yes, terabyte — flash drive

Pictured above, it features what Victorinox says is "the world's smallest high-capacity SSD (solid state drive)."

One terabyte = 1,000 gigabytes, more than most people have on their laptop hard or flash drives.

"The flash drive, which is capable of 22MB/s read and 15MB/s write, is removable from the knife body, making it easy to plug into your computer. It also features a 96×49 Bi-stable monochrome display, which will show you what's on your device and how much room you have left."

Available in April: $3,000.

The Complete Works of Shakespeare — Free

As I recall, I had to buy the complete works of Shakespeare — a large, heavy book — for a college class for some exorbitant amount of money.

Now you can get them free on your iPhone or iPad.

Times change.

All 41 plays, 154 sonnets and 6 poems.

Bonus: "Searchable concordance to find the exact word or phrase you're looking for, with 'relaxed' searching to find words close to your search term(s)."

The evolution of Catherine Zeta-Jones

From top to bottom, three looks, from past to present.

Her latest plastic surgery may represent a Jennifer Grey-like overreach, as the 42-year-old Zeta-Jones no longer looks much like herself.

42 yo

You will recall that Grey's surgery in the early 90s to reduce the size of her nose resulted in her becoming pretty much unemployable because people could no longer associate the new her to Frances "Baby" Houseman in "Dirty Dancing" or Jeanie Bueller in "Ferris Bueller's Day Off."

Grey herself commented publicly that her nose job was her worst mistake as an actress.

Experts' Expert: Use a walnut to conceal scratches in wood

This nutty tip comes from Eva Wallace, writing on the Clutter Control Freak Blog at StacksandStacks.com, which website I'd never have known existed without a heads-up from the inimitable Jeri Dansky, whose name you'll quite likely be seeing again here in the future.

USB Wall Plate Charger is Genius

Because you don't have to do anything to use it — just plug it into any existing wall plate.

No tools, nothing to install, no moving parts: takes plug-and-play literally.

If you travel, this is a godsend.

From the website:

Turn any standard home dual AC power outlet into a USB outlet in seconds with fast charging for two smartphones or one tablet, along with standard power via the pass-through AC outlet.

Add USB charging to every room in your home or office.

Optimized labeled outlet for iPad (2.1 amps).

Mine's en route.

Ivory or Almond: $19.99.
