New BOJ bumper stickers catching on big-time

Above, a photo just in from long-time joehead Ray Earhart who, in the subject line of his email, wrote "Hmmmm."

It would appear I'm living in a rough neighborhood.

Still not sure whether this warrants calling out my lawyerbots to send Bojangles a cease-and-desist.

Do they know who they're messing with?

"The Vacuum Cup Cures Baldness"

What's old is new again.

Japan Trends didn't just emerge from the quantum foam: it had precedents like this from way, way back in the day.

Original ad here (scroll down).

I'd hire the copywriter — "Is not this fair?" — in a New York minute.

Transformer Top Turns Canning Jar Into Travel Mug

That's different.

From The Green Head:

Just replace the metal lid with this cool new Cuppow sipping lid to transform an old-fashioned wide mouth canning jar into a uniquely interesting and inexpensive travel mug.

It's an ingenious and funny alternative to the typical slick and expensive travel mug, but until they invent a canning jar travel mug insulated sleeve, you'll need to be careful with hot coffee and tea.

However, sipping ice cold summer lemonade on the go will not be a problem.

Watch and learn.

Can you hum a few bars? Then SoundHound's for you

Wrote Hayley Tsukayama in the Washington Post,

"You know that tune you've been humming lately? The one that you only know a few bars of and can't identify for the life of you? Try SoundHound, a free app for Android and iOS that can solve that mystery for you. Like the popular app Shazam, SoundHound can identify a song that's playing in a store or on a passing radio. But SoundHound can also identify a song based on humming or singing — though the results vary based on the accuracy of the, ahem, input. Many songs also come with options to look at the lyrics and, of course, purchase the song on the Web."

The app is free, the way we like it.

This sounds like great fun, especially when you're with people: each of you can sing a song and see whose rendition best sparks SoundHound's memory bank.

Sushi Earphones

Mmmm, ikura.

Are those fish eggs in your ears or are you just glad to see me?

But I digress.

This is the last of the quirky earphone posts, I promise.

At least, the last of those from Japan Trends' collection.
