Albino Eggplant
OK, OK, strictly speaking albino means the absence of pigment and these eggplants are white.
But still strange when I saw them this morning at Harris Teeter, next to what're called "Graffiti Eggplant" (below).

According to the book Vegetables (Philips and Rix, 1993 Pan Books), the first eggplants introduced into the UK were ornamental white varieties, and the name eggplant is a result of this.

These are Aubergines - an egg plant is a CAFO with laying hens producing Salmonella contaminated eggs.
