Falling into a black hole — Episode 2:

Last month's Episode 1 offered a 44-second depiction of what it might be like to take a one-way journey like no other.

Reader sherlock sent me what he called "a much better animation" — he got that right.

I was absolutely riveted to the screen and words as the video played.

Someday far in the future our ancestors may be offered the chance to spend their last moments taking just this trip.

I for one might well sign up if somehow a wormhole made purchasing tickets possible.

My son had just asked me last week, "Mom, what happens if you fall into a black hole?" No kidding. (I still have to explain to him, from time to time, that I don't have the answers to everything.) So, once again, Joe to the rescue! Thanks.
